The showrooms at the Pacific Design Center

Stone and tile are on the lower floors of the blue building. Allow a morning.

The Pacific Design Center is Cesar Pelli’s blue glass building of 1975 at Melrose and San Vicente, joined later by the green and the red. Inside are more than a hundred showrooms of furniture, fabric, stone, tile and lighting, most of them to the trade; a designer, or an appointment, opens the rest.

A note on the place, and an illustration, until Michael’s own are ready.
