Living in Beverlywood

Beverlywood was laid out in 1940 by the Walter H. Leimert Company on land south of Beverly Hills, between Robertson Boulevard and Cheviot Hills. Its residential streets wind beneath a canopy of established trees, and the plan turns around Circle Park, a teardrop-shaped green that has been at the center of the tract since its founding.

The Beverlywood Homes Association, established the same year, still reviews house size, style, color, design and landscaping across its tract. Robertson Boulevard runs along the eastern edge, the course of Hillcrest Country Club lies to the west, and the streets of Cheviot Hills continue beyond it.
